3 hour long, pretty comprehensive documentary about Kraftwerk and the birth of electronic music in Germany, from sixties Krautrock to eighties Synth-Pop and all the mad shit in between. Well worth a chunk of your time.

What the Future Sounded Like Documentary

This is a great wee half hour documentary about the birth of electronic music and the eccentric visionary maverick types that got the ball rolling. Pretty interesting, I thought it was cool that the first ever privately owned 'home' (well, he kept it in his shed) computer in the world was just for making music on.
