LKJ in Mento, Rocksteady, Ska, Reggae, Dub, Lovers' Rock...

Hey all, long time no postie-post. Thought I'd word your ears up to this little gem I just came across: the man like Linton Kwesi Johnson presents a 10 part documentary exploring Jamaican/Black British musics of the last 40 odd years. Real dread man, fe real.

Absolutely fascinating stuff, with amazing tunes. LKJ is the man. And there's 10 hours of it! Good sociological stuff too - as one would expect from a sociologist like him.

    ooft 10 episodes did you say? thats a lotta Linton. I could listen to LKJ talk all day. They should get him to read the news.
