Photek strikes back

I've been getting back into some dnb recently. Any suggestions? I enjoyed Photek's modus operandi and form & function, but I think he may be blossoming now ... Dsco this new offering from Photek http://soundcloud.com/photek/101-clip-from-benji-bs-radio-1-show-25-11-2010

i notice massive attack also still putting out quality music

  4. 'naebaewdy'? Nice try Irvine Welsh. Nae cunt pronounces it 'naebaewdy' unless they're a spazzy. Like you.

And yes, insane though it is to voice my opinion on Photek on a blog post about Photek, maybe I didn't make it strong enough. Photek is boring shite for pretentious students.

As referenced by this tune on youtube

and the first comment by 'airbreathing engine'

"reminds me of wandering the vast corridors of my university late at night during a blizzard when most of the lights were turned off. a spiritual experience with this on my ipod."

    fuck. right. off.

  5. Mmnnyeah, no a big fan of Photek/any sort of 'intelligent' drum and bass myself, never have been. That new track is dubstep, and no more inspirational for it.

If dnb it must be, then I'd rather have Hype, Zinc, Aphrodite, Mickey Finn, or any number of other proper junglists. On which note: This is ab-so-lute-ly wic-ked!

That Massive Attack tune's great, not what I was expecting at all. Will have to give the new album a listen at some point.
