  1. klang und drang rudeboy. kinky afro have changed their bloody tune a bit since matt afro's 'emotional electro' (yeah - wtf?) days. first toddla t, now this. wonky bass techno ya bas.

landstrumm's still banging out the ragga-rave-step i see. he must be the blackest 6'4" gingernut in scotland. BWOINGBWOING-WOBWOBWORRRB. riddim track!

off to listen to the vogel one and see if i still don't really like him all that much...

  2. oh eh... he's just dropped tension in new york. what the fuck is that bassline all about really though?

sik sik sik mate... (in the parlance of our times)

  3. i was at this. putting vogel on after landstrumm (if i remember right) did no favours to an already pretty lacklustre set. i remember chatting to cv outside and him seeming pretty nonplussed about the whole scene and how he was going to be received. would have gone down much better the other way round anyway.

tension in new york is as much of a scottish techno anthem as there is in my book. still on my mp3 player and still kicking arses today.
